ABOUT

The BioBank was established in 2021 as the designated sample hub for the Mining Microbiome Analytics Platform (M-MAP) project, the largest investment in planned natural resource genomic sequencing in the history of the sector.

Between 2021 and 2024, we received, processed, and biobanked over 8000 environmental and DNA samples in an effort to support research into novel sustainable mining practices on a global scale.

Today, we continue to support our clients with their research goals in biomining and are working on expanding our reach into other fields both within academia and the industry.
